One of my favorite meals is Chili with Smoke Turkey Neck. This meal is hardy and tasty. Smoke Turkey Neck, ground turkey, black beans, red kidney beans, sweet bell peppers, red, green, orange, and yellow peppers, rich with delicious chili peppers and chili seasoning with some jalapeños pepper, and one small Jamaican scotch bonnet pepper. This meal is absolutely tasty and delicious over rice. It’s an excellent meal to eat when it’s cold outside and rainy. This meal makes you feel full and warm on the inside.

Ingredients includes:

1 pound of smoke turkey neck
1 pound of ground turkey
1 onion dice
1 red sweet bell peppers dice or wash them and place them whole in the pot
1 green sweet bell peppers dice or wash them and place them whole in the pot
1 yellow sweet bell peppers dice or wash them and place them whole in the pot
1 orange sweet bell peppers dice or wash them and place them whole in the pot
1 dice shallots
1 Jamaican Scotch Bonnet Pepper
3 tomato’s washed dice or place whole in the pot
3 cloves of dice up garlic

NO need to wash the turkey neck nor the ground beef.

Sauté and mix all ingredients in a frying pan with your turkey neck and your ground turkey.

First, sauté your ground turkey with your vegetable and add seasoning such as garlic powder, black pepper, parsley, basil all-purpose seasonings Then add in your smoke turkey neck. You can break down the ground turkey neck into smaller pieces if you prefer.

Once you have finish sautéing all your meats and vegetables together, combine all ingredients in a larger pot. Either a pressure cooker that will make your turkey neck cook faster and be more tender.

Add 3 cups of water to the pot or as much water as needed until your smoke turkey neck is soft.

If you are using a regular pot to cook this. The time it will take is about 1 or 2 hours to cook the turkey neck. If you are using a pressure cooker, the process for cooking your Turkey Neck will be short in about 20–30 minutes. If you are using any dried beans, such as your black bean or red kidney beans, this is the time you should add them to the pot.

If you are using Can bean, It’s ideal to wait until the end when you’re simmering down and combining all other seasoning or ingredients along with your Can bean to put them in the pot at the end.

Once the turkey neck is cooked and the sauce is much thicker, add in your McCormick Chili seasoning. You can use 2 packs of the McCormick Chili seasoning.

Add 1 or half of cup of water. Add in your season along with the McCormick Chili seasons. Add Garlic Powder, Pepper, Parsley, basil, All Purpose season, half of teaspoon of salt or as desired.

Add additional items such as your black bean and red kidney beans and 1 jar of tomato or spaghetti sauce.

You can use dry black beans or dry red beans if you don’t want to use the one in the can. I recommend that you place the dry beans during the time you are cooking the turkey neck, as these bean could take hours to cook.

Once the sauce for the chili is thick and all ingredient has been cooked and simmered down.

Boil 2 cups of rice in a pan.

You can use brown or white rice with your chili. Wash your rice. Add butter to your rice pan with dice up onions, add garlic powder, a half teaspoon of salt or as needed, add basil and sauté vegetable in your rice pan. Then add washed rice and let simmer and cook down for about 15 mins.

Once the rice is done. Dish out the rice in a serving plate and pour chili over the rice.

This meal is absolutely delicious!

Enjoy!
